Nendoroid

What is a Nendoroid?

As per the always accurate Wikipedia...

The Nendoroid (ねんどろいど nendoroido?) series is a brand of plastic figures created by the Japanese Good Smile Company in 2006.

The Nendoroid brand spans a variety of different products: the original 10 cm figures, smaller Nendoroid Petite figures...

....it's a toy.

Why would someone purchase this Nendoroid?

Personal preference and commercialism is a bitch.

How much is it?
From the official GoodSmile company they are usually 5000 Yen including P+P.
That' s about £27.24 or $41.33 as per December 2015.

Not bad all things considered however and this BIG if you live in the UK you will need to pay custom charge for £21.04.

Is it worth it?
For gaming figures not at all you can buy the Metal Gear Nendoroid figures for £45 including P&P. If you require the unique anime figures check Crunchyroll first.

See pics below and as always have fun.

One for All Remote - Panache TV

A long time ago (5+ years) in this very galaxy i purchased a Panache branded TV from my local Asda.

I later discovered the company TV was pretty much a re-branding of a Beko TV.

Sometime had passed and like all things the remote had said its fair dues and past away (RIP).

I then discovered One for All remote and i thought it would do the trick it even had Panache in the booklet - code 1585.

It didn't. I did say it was a re-branded Beko TV - i used one of their TV codes and it worked. Even if i only Tested the remote for two minutes and all the options and buttons now work as intended.
The code i used was 2125 however you may need to try other Beko codes to see if they work.

How to get MPC(Media Player Classic) to play Soft Subs

1.  Open MPC.

3.  On the Options page click on Playback.  To the right you will see options for playback.  You will see Audio, Playback, Output and Open settings.  Under Open settings click Auto-load subtitles.

4.  Click Apply and OK.  This takes you back to the MPC screen and you’re done.
Important!  You have to click on Apply & OK in order to set this.  If you forgot, get back to the page and do it.

[MINI MKV] DEVIL MAY CRY ANIME

Devil May Cry | Mini MKV

Devil May Cry follows the adventures of the demon hunter Dante who himself is half demon and half human. Dante is hired through his own business named "Devil May Cry". The characters are based off of the popular capcom playstation 2 games.

Episodes: 12 Completed Year: 2007
Audio: English/ Japanese
Subtitle: Softsub English

The anime is passable, with some good characterization, but most of it falls flat with some decent stand out episodes and a large amount of episodes that are just mediocre. If you are a Devil May Cry fan, you may enjoy this anime, but if not, I have a hard time recommending it.
I'd say watch the anime if you have nothing better to do. It isn't bad but it isn't all that good either the only thing going for it is that you can buy it on the cheap. If you are expecting something totally awesome here because you are a Devil May Cry fan, you either will because you are in love with Dante or you will be disappointed. Personally I don't mind this anime at all, it is a weaker anime series  in a genre that i adore however it will kill some time.

PS2 Emulator

PCSX2 has been going strong since late '05 when the ps2 was entering latter stages of its life.
Since then i have always wanted to test the pcsx2, i regularly read the change logs and updates for it, however it required a computer with greater specs then i could afford so i was pretty much stuck with a P4.

As i own PS2 and played on it frequently until the ps3 came out using the emulator it did not concern me greatly.

Now it does, for two reasons.
1. My PS2 is no longer in my room and is hidden in my house somewhere.
2. The 60gb PS3 has trouble playing some PS2 games.

There are a few reasons for  my recent urge to play PS2 games these are because i can and i will. Another being becuase i want to re-cap the glorious moments of older games before they are released in "HD collections" and the third; can my newly built quad-core computer handle the emualtor?

- Which the answer is yes, it does.

Below are a few screenshots.

Some games work amazingly well without no adjustment, some do with minor adjustment, some do not work and last but not least some games lag.
This is of course  how it is with emulation.

It's a matter of "take it or leave it."

Links to PCSX2 and help are below. Enjoy.
